Retired
I retired from The Hartford in June 2019. When I retired, I was working in the Enterrpise Risk Management area at The Hartford and a good portion of my time was spent buidling stochastic reserving models. I started working as a P&C actuary at CNA in June 1978. I became an FCAS in May 1982. I have experience in reserving, state level ratemaking and class plan modeling besides working in the Enterprise Risk Management area.
I worked on the Syllabus and Exam Committee for a total of about 25 years and left that committee in June 2021.
I graduated from The University of Iowa in 1975 and from the Ross School of Business at The University of Michigan in 1978.
Today, I live in a small town in Northern Connecticut.
